Are you interested in being part of a team of financial services risk and regulatory leaders, experienced in scoping and delivering large transformation programmes in complex environments?
Our Financial Services Risk and Regulatory team is dedicated to solving complex business problems for our clients across Ireland’s largest organizations in retail banking, international banking, insurance, asset and wealth management, and payment services.
We are hiring a Risk and Regulation Director with experience in identifying, scoping, and delivering large transformation programs that ensure compliance by design with applicable laws and regulations, working within multidisciplinary teams.
This senior leadership role is ideal for a risk and regulatory specialist passionate about growth and building new offerings that excite clients and our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver regulatory change projects for clients.
2. Act as a Risk and Regulation expert and SME supporting clients through business transformation, supervision, and regulatory change.
3. Collaborate with leadership to define strategic directions for regulatory engagements.
4. Partner with ‘Go to Market’ teams on customer propositions.
5. Lead and present proposals for new client work.
6. Manage projects within budgets and timelines.
7. Guide teams of regulatory specialists on multiple assignments.
8. Support compliance with new risk and regulatory requirements and identify new opportunities.
9. Promote the PwC Ireland brand and lead risk and regulatory communities.
10. Ensure high-quality project deliverables demonstrating risk and regulatory compliance expertise.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. BSc/MSc with 10+ years in consulting and delivering regulatory change projects.
2. Deep knowledge of financial services regulatory issues, including conduct risk, governance, and AML.
3. Experience in risk and control projects within financial services, from consulting or regulatory backgrounds.
4. Leadership experience in developing high-performing teams.
5. Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse client partners.
6. Pre-sales experience and thought leadership development.
7. Advisory experience on regulatory change implementation.
