Overview
The client is currently looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join their operation. The position is located less than 1 hour from Dublin and uses a 4‑shift cycle (7:00–19:00) with 33% shift allowance: 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off.
Responsibilities
* Report to the Site Quality Control Lead and be responsible for all QC test activities, including testing of incoming materials, in-process materials, intermediates, API and stability samples, method transfer and validation, and data review.
* Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods, including cleaning method validation and troubleshooting as required.
* Perform method reviews and peer reviews.
* Provide analytical support to monitor production and analytical results during technology transfer and process validation phases.
* Prepare and review laboratory documentation (e.g., method transfer and validation protocols and reports, SOPs, calibration procedures, analytical test records, and related protocols).
* Test raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and materials associated with the reaction and cleaning processes in accordance with approved procedures, including the stability testing program.
* Test swab and rinse samples and perform visual inspection of equipment after cleaning.
* Sample and test support utilities (water, nitrogen, steam, environmental monitoring).
* Review and accuracy check of analytical data.
* Actively participate in laboratory tier meetings.
Experience / Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with 3+ years of quality control and analytical laboratory experience.
* Analytical Method Validation experience is advantageous.
* Recognised Lean Six Sigma qualification (Yellow/Green/Black Belt) desirable.
