We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Sales and M&E professional to join our Senior Management at Leonardo Hotel Parnell Street, Leonardo Hotel Christchurch, and NYX Portobello Hotel Dublin as Cluster Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will also have good commercial understanding and experience with corporate accommodation.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a pro-active self-starter with the ability to drive business, grow market share from existing accounts, and deliver new business.
As part of the role, you will be enrolled in our Sales Training Academy – Guru to Master the art of sales! You will have the flexibility to work from home once a week.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop an understanding of the local hotel markets and competitor activity to increase revenue through focused sales activities for Local and National Accounts.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
* Forecast and track key account metrics such as monthly sales results and forecasts.
* Produce timely reports for Regional Sales Manager and General Manager.
* Participate in the annual budgeting process for the Corporate and M&E segments.
* Complete and execute the hotel sales plan and update it as needed.
* Manage hotel RFPs and ensure stakeholder involvement during negotiations.
* Manage a portfolio of local and territory accounts and support National Accounts.
* Use data and market research for telesales and campaigns.
* Oversee hotel Group and M&E business performance.
* Ensure CRM system use meets standards.
Ideal candidate:
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
* Strong market knowledge is essential.
* Passionate about M&E and skilled in influencing and driving sales.
* Excellent communication and relationship skills.
* Ambitious, results-driven, and resilient.
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to present the brand compellingly.
