Working within a team, the duties of the Quality Control Officer will include:
* Quality inspections at all Quality Control Points within our process flow.
* Making decisions and taking actions based on the outcome of these inspections.
* Completion of Inspection Reports for Suppliers and Customers as required.
* Interacting with Supplier and Customer Technical and Quality Control representatives as required.
* Compiling Grading Instructions for Production where necessary.
* Overseeing Quality Management requirements through the Production function.
* Performing Shelf Life Analysis.
* Maintaining HACCP Registers.
* Performing In-house audits in line with QMS and HACCP requirements.
* Own car preferable but not essential
Person specification
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* A degree in Food Science or current study in a related field.
* Candidates with a background in catering often adapt well to this role and are encouraged to apply.
* A valid driver's license and the ability to drive would be an advantage.
