Exyte Northern Europe are now hiring for a Senior Piping Manager, to collaborate as part of our BLS business unit.
The successful candidate can be based in either of our local offices in Maynooth, Co. Kildare or Little Island, Co. Cork.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
* Leadership: Manage and develop the piping department, supporting team progression and fostering collaboration across disciplines.
* Project Coordination: Ensure seamless integration of piping workflows into multidisciplinary BIM models, delivering high-quality piping deliverables (e.g., 3D models, isometrics) and resolving design clashes.
* Resource Planning: Recruit, allocate, and manage resources, project scope and hours both across the network and externally to meet project demands, ensuring technical and commercial objectives are achieved across multiple projects.
* Team Development: The manager will build a high calibre team and maximise the potential development of their team members.
* Quality Assurance: Implement design safety procedures, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
* Client & Business Development: Build strong client relationships, support proposal preparation (deliverables, estimates, hours), and contribute to business development activities and meetings.
* Continuous Improvement: Enhance efficiency by implementing lessons learned, developing tools, and contributing to procedure improvement initiatives
Show your expertises
* Industry Expertise: 10–15 years of experience in piping design and coordination within pharmaceutical, medical devices, or industrial sectors.
* Third-level engineering qualification or equivalent trade experience while preferable the wealth of experience from an experienced piping professional is highly valued.
* Technical Proficiency: Skilled in piping design tools such as Plant 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM360 and laser scan software.
* Project Management: Proven track record in managing discipline teams, estimating hours, resource planning, and delivering projects within timelines and budgets.
* Team Leadership: Strong mentoring, team-building, and professional development capabilities.
* Collaboration: Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, civil, and architectural disciplines as well as working with piping teams from other offices, e.g. India
