Our client is a Swedish tech provider that is currently developing AndroidTv, TVos, and Amazon FireTV apps for Video streaming.
Their team is around 50 people.
Most of them are located in Sweden.
Requirements
5 years of experience developing Roku applications using BrightScript.
Strong knowledge of Roku SDK, SceneGraph, and related development tools.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Experience in video and media-based development projects, including DRM, advertising, analytics, and online video platforms (OVPs).
Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to implement designs.
Proficiency in debugging and performance optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to have requirements
Experience with other streaming platforms (e.g., Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV).
Responsibilities
Develop Roku application using Brightscript and Roku SDK
Collaborate with other developers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth application performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Roku app development.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Work closely with the product management team to understand project requirements and deliver on time.
Ensure compliance with Roku's development guidelines and app store requirements.
