About Dublin Fire Brigade
Dublin Fire Brigade provides the fully integrated Fire, Emergency Ambulance, and Rescue Service for the four Dublin Local Authorities: Dublin City, South Dublin, Fingal, and Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown County Councils. To facilitate this service, they employ approximately 1,000 personnel working across 6 districts, with 12 full-time stations, 2 part-time stations, a Training Centre, East Region Communications Centre, Fire Prevention, Administration, Workshops, and a fleet of over 115 vehicles.
The brigade responds to a diverse range of emergencies, including fighting fires, Emergency Ambulance incidents, Water Rescue, High Line Rescue, Road Traffic Collisions, Flooding, Chemical Incidents, and Marine Emergency Response.
Job Opportunity
There is an opening in Dublin City Council for the position of Senior Executive Fire Prevention Officer.
Reporting to an Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Chief Fire Officer, or designated persons, the Senior Executive Fire Prevention Officer will work as part of the Fire Prevention Section team. This senior management role involves managing staff and may require working independently as needed.
The role is crucial in delivering and managing Fire Prevention Services to meet the expectations of Dublin Fire Brigade and the community it serves.
