We operate nationwide in conjunction with local authorities and stakeholders, with offices located throughout the country.
There are several senior engineering opportunities available across the Eastern Region, including Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow and Louth. Each position offers a unique blend of site-based and hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for conducting site visits for non-standard new connection applications, performing site assessments and creating work orders within a designated region.
* You will oversee connection requests to the water and wastewater network, working closely with Local Authorities and relevant parties to deliver connection services for customers.
* You will support the delivery of connection-related network reinforcement schemes driven by connection demand, collaborating with counterparts from Capital Delivery, Local Authorities or third-party service providers.
* You will provide exceptional customer experience through the end-to-end connection process.
* Monitor incoming site inspection requests related to non-standard new connections.
* Conduct site assessments in accordance with Health and Safety Policies and Standards, inputting requirements into work orders.
* Carry out technical and field assessments of new connections as required.
* Document results of inspections and approve/close work orders as applicable.
* Perform on-site quality assurance for Water & Wastewater Infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* You'll need a combination of technical expertise, regulatory awareness and strong interpersonal skills.
* A relevant third-level qualification in civil engineering is essential.
* Familiarity with GIS systems, asset data management and field inspection protocols is desirable.
* Ability to conduct site assessments, prepare work orders and ensure compliance with new connection standards.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in water, utilities or similar industries is highly desirable.
