We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead multi-team data initiatives within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing complex data projects, particularly in P&C insurance, and will be responsible for driving delivery across multiple data streams, ensuring alignment with business goals, and managing stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning & Execution Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for multi-team data deliverables.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams across data engineering, analytics, and business units.
* Ensure timely execution of project milestones and deliverables. Requirement & Stream Management
* Track and manage requirements across multiple data streams.
* Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
* Report directly to the Data Lead and provide regular status updates.
* Serve as the primary liaison between business, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
* Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively. RAID & Risk Management
* Maintain and manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
* Track budgets, forecast costs, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Experience
* 5 years of project management experience in insurance, with a focus on data and claims delivery.
* Proven experience in managing data-centric projects, preferably within data management & Data modernization project
Skills
* Strong understanding of insurance claims workflows and data systems.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
* Hands-on experience with toots like Jira, MS Project, Rally, or similar.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications (Preferred)
* PMP or equivalent project management certification.
* Insurance industry certifications (e.g., AINS, CPU) are a plus.
