Exyte are now recruiting for an Senior Process Engineer to provide design and engineering expertise during the planning and execution of design projects within Exyte's Biopharma & Life Science business unit within Northern Europe & Israel.The succesful candidate can be based in either our Cork or Maynooth offices.About our Biopharma and Life Sciences (BLS) division Exyte offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to the diverse needs of pharmaceutical facilities, biotechnology labs, medical device production centers, and more. Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesCollaboration with client design team/end userCoordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliersDelivery of agreed process design scope within budgeted hours and scheduleAssist with technical and safety reviews, provide technical input and support to Process design teamDevelopment of process solutions and process calculations e.g. hydraulic calculations and relief device sizingDesign of process and utilities including preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculationsExhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practicesSupport development of corporate and discipline specific procedures and policiesRegular collaboration with global engineering
Show your expertise
EssentialChemical Engineering or Process Engineering DegreeMinimum 5+ years of experience in engineering and design as facilities/plant engineer or consulting engineer within biopharma, life science or related projectsRequired to be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal communicationsAbility to work on own initiativeWillingness for occasional travelDesirableDriving Licence + own transport
