Financial Controller
We are recruiting a Financial Controller on behalf of our Munster-based client. This is a full-time permanent role based in Tralee.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver timely financial reporting and control requirements for the group's trading and holding company entities.
* Manage, develop, and oversee the finance team.
* Ensure accurate coding of resale and expense invoices for gross margin analysis.
* Maintain governance over bank and cash transactions.
* Prepare accurate financial statements, including detailed gross margin analysis, P&L, and BS.
* Oversee payroll and provide guidance on pertinent issues.
* Take responsibility for key accounting adjustments during quarterly close.
* Be a liaison for the group with external parties, including suppliers, insurers, auditors, tenants, and debtors.
Reporting Requirements:
* VAT returns
* Trials balances for all holding companies
* Consolidated group accounts
* Group inter-company transactions
* KPIs on various expense headings across the group
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant with practice & industry experience
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in multiple locations
* Track record in delivering to deadlines and driving continuous improvement
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven problem solver
