Seasonal variation in working hours according to organisational requirementsJob Description:Regular inspection of the building, equipment & facilities, operate the building management softwareCheck security aspects, health & safety, fire safety, operation and cleanliness of the buildingRecognise and assess faults and damages of the building, equipment and facilities, take appropriate actionPerform basic repairs and paint jobs, and getting quotes for arranging repairs externallyAct as contact person for maintenance companiesCleaning of the external areas, maintaining of plants and gardeningSupport for receiving and sending deliveries, post and packagesSupporting preparations of events, exhibitions and language classes, e.g. setting up furniture and IT/ technical equipmentRunning errands and purchasesCover for reception and lock up of the building in the eveningsRequirements:Professional handyman-abilities obtained through apprentice/ on-the-job trainingGeneral knowledge of building management software, or willingness to familiarise with itGeneral IT-knowledgeBasic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire Safety, occupational First Aid is a bonusVery good spoken and written English.
