As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with the Observability Community of Practice, closely working with various infrastructure and application teams within the region and globally.As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development, testing and delivery of on-going projects for Observability, including new AIOps features.We are seeking interns with an understanding of AI and machine learning (specifically, exploratory knowledge in Generative AI and LLMs) to build cloud native AI applications.This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in the field of Observability and AIOps and a chance to develop your skills in a real-world settingJob requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements. Contribute to the development of AIOps solutions for Observability.Collect, preprocess, and evaluate data to train and evaluate AI models.Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and contribute to the team's knowledge base.Show a strong aptitude for learning modern technologies and understanding how to utilize them to solve real-world technical and business problems.Document project progress, methodologies, and results for internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of, or interest in, Observability and monitoring tools like Splunk, Logic Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL, ELK Stack etc is favorable.Knowledge of one backend and one front end programming language for API and UI development (e.g. Python, Java, Javascript, React, GO).Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.Familiarity with popular machine learning libraries or frameworks ( e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Exploratory knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks like Langchain or CrewYour profileYou must be a current student of a bachelor's degree in one of the following technical disciplines: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related subjects like Mathematics, Physics.This role is open to 3rd year students looking for a 6–8-month internship as part of their degree program.You should have the unrestricted right to work in Ireland for the entire duration of the internship.
