LEAN MANAGER An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lean Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organisation operating in technically complex, project-driven environments.
This is a strategic leadership role with real influence, focused on driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and sustainable change across production operations.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a long-standing manufacturing business delivering engineered and modular solutions into regulated and infrastructure-led sectors.

THE ROLE: The Lean Transformation Manager will lead the development and execution of site-wide continuous improvement initiatives, embedding lean principles and driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost.
Key responsibilities include: Developing and deploying a lean six sigma processes aligned with business objectives.
Championing lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
Analysing manufacturing and fabrication processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
Leading cross-functional improvement projects to optimise throughput, reduce lead times, and improve quality.
Establishing KPIs, dashboards, and governance structures to track progress and sustain gains.
Acting as a change leader, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Supporting and coaching managers and supervisors to adopt new ways of working.
Collaborating with engineering, procurement, quality, and operations teams to drive end-to-end process efficiency.
Ensuring improvements are delivered in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.
This role carries significant ownership and visibility and will directly influence how the manufacturing operation evolves.
THE PERSON: Our client is seeking candidates who: Have a proven background in lean transformation within a manufacturing environment.
Possess strong experience in lean process management and change management.
Are confident leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Have deep knowledge of lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma experience beneficial).
Are commercially aware and comfortable linking operational improvements to business outcomes.
Hold a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience in modular manufacturing, fabrication, or project-based production environments would be advantageous.
