Our client is a market leading solutions provider for the construction industry, supplying an extensive portfolio of building materials.
They are hiring a Group Operations Director to lead their three Irish sites, headquartered from Dublin.
The Role Oversee multi-site operations, supply chain, procurement, warehousing, and logistics to ensure service excellence and cost efficiency.
Lead the development and execution of operational strategies, including IT systems optimisation, stock control, and performance metrics like OTIF.
Manage budgets, productivity, and investment planning to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
Support and develop cross-functional teams, ensuring effective HR policies, training, and performance management are in place.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including the implementation of ISO frameworks and improvement programs.
The Person You must have excellent people leadership capabilities, preferably in a fast-paced multi-site environment.
Strong experience in handling the transportation and distribution of product, managing logistics providers and ensuring OTIF delivery.
Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimise stock within a high volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.
Proven capability to reduce cost and plan resources to drive profitability.
