We are looking for a Quality Manager – Pharmaceutical Distribution to join our team in City North, Dublin, Ireland.
Main purpose of the job:
Cultural:
A key member of the Quality Leadership Team, influencing the wider organization through leadership, accountability, coaching, and development of the Quality Operations and related departments. This role requires a self-starter who values autonomy and responsibility. It presents a key succession planning opportunity within the QA organization.
Technical:
The Quality Manager will lead the QA Warehouse Team, define and improve processes related to Quality Warehouse Operations, and oversee tasks such as Goods in, Specifications, Storage, Pest Control, Dispatch, and Cleaning/Housekeeping from a Quality perspective at PCI Ireland Pharma Services. Responsible for ensuring OTIF of batch release/dispatch and customer commitments, and for supporting the introduction of new warehouses, system setup, risk assessments, and product transfers between sites.
Main responsibilities:
* Manage the team responsible for generating and reviewing all warehouse records related to Goods In & Dispatch activities, ensuring timely completion.
* Oversee quality activities within the incoming goods receipt area.
* Communicate quality strategy to leadership and collaborate with departments to ensure operational requirements are understood and followed.
* Maintain control over Reject Forms, Specifications, Calibrations, and related documentation.
* Define and monitor KPIs for Quality Warehouse Operations, utilizing SQDC for management, and report weekly to the Quality Director.
* Review and approve deviations and investigations related to storage and dispatch, and respond to customer inquiries regarding product investigations.
* Lead and develop the Quality Warehouse Operations team, including training on systems and processes, and manage HR activities such as timely completion of Quantum assessments and conducting 1:1 meetings.
* Participate in the Quality Site Leadership team, flagging concerns with site operations and working with other departments to ensure quality compliance.
* Host customer inspections and support authority audits.
* Drive continuous improvement of good practices and quality systems across the site.
