What you need to know: This is a hands-on technical leadership role, supporting engineering and operations with a strong focus on utilities, asset management, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. Your New Role: Key Duties and Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of site utilities, ensuring reliable plant performance Monitor and optimise utilities systems to drive efficiency and reduce downtime Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and quality standards Assist in the development and execution of planned and preventive maintenance activities Participate introubleshooting and root cause analysisto resolve technical issues Contribute to utilities improvement projects and support capital upgrades Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and engineering What we are looking for: Degree-qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Energy, Chemical, or similar) 35 years experience in a manufacturing or utilities-focused environment Good understanding ofutilities systems such as steam, thermal oil, combustion, rotating equipment, and effluent treatment Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset Familiarity with Lean principles or working within a 24/7 production environment is an advantage By applying, you are giving consent for Matrix Recruitment to contact you about this job.
