Job Title: Senior Billing Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and organized Billing Manager to join our team in Cork. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and will form part of a busy finance department covering all aspects of the billing and contract management function.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fast-paced finance environment and a structured approach to work. They will possess excellent communication skills and be a team player with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

* Configure new contracts on Vantage, the billing system, ensuring accurate setup and timely completion.
* Collect meter reads by email and phone, generate spreadsheets for current readings and distribute them to multiple users, maintaining transparency and efficiency.
* Issue service invoices to all customers on a weekly basis, depending on whether it's a monthly or quarterly contract, meeting strict deadlines.
* Liaise with the analyst to set up and cancel contracts, streamlining processes and ensuring seamless transitions.
* Submit meter reads on a monthly basis, providing regular updates and tracking progress.
* Cease active contracts as required, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
* Annually upload all contracts in Vantage, as required, maintaining compliance and accuracy.
* Support customer information with volume details, billing queries, etc., offering exceptional customer service and support.
* Collaborate with the team to assist with ad hoc reports required by the Financial Controller, contributing to the success of the finance department.
* Address all customer billing queries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.


Requirements:

* Prior experience in an Accounts Payable/Billing or other related finance role.
* Structured and organized approach to work.
* Excellent communication skills and a team player.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Office 365 applications, including Excel.
* Experience with Sage and Vantage software is an advantage.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
