KeyWaste is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with expertise in DNS, DHCP, and Office 365, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services. In addition to troubleshooting skills, you will leverage your knowledge of Servers and Office 365 to maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and efficiently.
2. Utilize expertise in Networks, Servers, DNS, DHCP & AD Administration skills to manage and maintain network services, including WIFI Networks, Server Admin, domain name resolution and IP address assignment.
3. Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 services & Azure, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
4. Configure and manage Desktops, Laptops, RDP, Tablets & Mobile support.
5. Collaborate with Application Team and System Team to implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
6. Monitor and analyse network performance, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
7. Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT systems and data, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
8. Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
9. Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to IT Security, Office 365, and Server support, continuously improving technical skills and knowledge.
11. Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics, including software usage, security best practices, and Office 365 applications.
12. Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed to ensure the availability of critical systems and services.
13. Resolve tickets and ensure they are completed within SLA's.
14. Fully document all troubleshooting steps and create knowledge base articles of resolutions.
15. Actively seeking opportunities to improve client's IT systems and IT operations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
* 5 years or more in a similar role is essential.
* Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
* Proficiency in configuring and managing DNS, DHCP, Azure and Office 365 services, including user management, permissions, and security settings.
* Experience with network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.
* Knowledge of network patching, switches, and wireless installations.
* A strong focus on continuous improvements and personal development.
* A keen interest and passion for technology and its application in a business environment
* Ability to take ownership, organise workload and change priorities quickly, with time management and self-motivation skills.
* Certifications in Azure Administration, Server Management.
* To be considered for this position applicants must be eligible to work and reside in Ireland.
* This role is for Full time on-Site for 5 days a week.

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
