Our operations include a central warehouse, buying offices, dispatch centre, and e-commerce platform, all based in Westport, Co. Mayo, with additional offices in Ennis and Dublin. We are growing rapidly, with an ambitious 10-year expansion plan.
The Role:
This is a full-time, permanent Assistant Manager position at our Thurles store. The role requires full flexibility, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, providing outstanding customer service.
2. Support the Store Manager in organising and managing weekly team rotas to ensure adequate coverage within budgeted hours.
3. Drive operational excellence, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining company standards.
4. Adhere to company policies and procedures, supporting the Store Manager in their implementation.
5. Coordinate merchandising campaigns, promotional activities, delivery schedules, and back-office duties proactively.
6. Display strong leadership skills, coaching and developing the team to meet objectives and embody Carraig Donn's core values.
7. Previous retail management experience is essential; experience with Giftware or Fashion is advantageous.
