We are seeking a skilled and friendly full-time hotel Receptionist to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and hospitable environment. Responsibilities: Display, at all times, a friendly, courteous and professional manner in all interactions with guests, patrons and other employees.Attend or read the handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any special requirements for the day.Greeting guests as they arrive and checking them into their roomsHandling guest inquiries and providing information about hotel amenities and servicesManaging phone calls and email correspondenceAbility to quote and be familiar with room and rate availability for current and future dates.Ability to accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of reservations staff.Handling guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional mannerManaging room reservations and ensuring accuracy of guest information in the hotel's booking systemMaintaining a clean and organized reception areaCollaborating with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operationsPerform tasks and projects as delegated by the manager on duty.
