Attic Insulation Installer (Full-Time)
Encon, a leading Building, Retrofit & Renewables Contractor in Ireland, continues to expand its delivery of high quality retrofit and energy efficiency works across domestic properties. As part of this growth, Encon is seeking 1 No. Attic Insulation Supervisor & 1 No. Installer to join our retrofit delivery team.

Role Overview
The Attic Insulation position is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for installing attic insulation measures in domestic properties. All works must be completed to a high standard of workmanship, in line with applicable specifications, standards, and scheme requirements.
This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and professionalism while working in occupied homes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Install attic insulation measures in domestic properties in line with specifications, technical standards, and scheme requirements
· Install attic walkways, basic storage platforms, cold water tank jackets, and pipe lagging where specified
· Prepare and protect work areas prior to installation, respecting homeowners' property at all times
· Work safely in attic spaces and confined areas, following site safety procedures and PPE requirements
· Deliver consistently high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and site presentation, leaving each home tidy on completion
· Complete basic job documentation, photos, and digital sign off for completed works
· Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and internal teams throughout each job
· Identify and report access issues, defects, or site constraints to supervisors or management
· Attend training and upskilling as required
· Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by management
Requirements
· 1–2 years' experience in construction, insulation, or retrofit work
· Full, clean driving licence
· Safe Pass certification (can be completed after joining)
· Manual Handling certification (can be completed after joining)
· Comfortable working in attic spaces and confined areas
· Physically fit and capable of manual work
· Good understanding of site safety and quality control
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a retrofit team
· A strong eye for detail and a neat, tidy approach to work
Desirable
· Previous attic insulation installation experience, including walkways, storage platforms, tank jackets, or pipe lagging
· Experience working on SEAI-funded retrofit or home energy upgrade projects
· Full training provided for suitable candidates
