Job Overview
The Process Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in translating customers' process requirements into deliverable, cost-effective, and profitable solutions.
They will work closely with internal and external design teams, project managers, and business development teams to influence and optimize design concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand and document clients' process needs and draft high-level design concepts.
* Collaborate with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet client needs.
* Work with project managers and tendering departments to cost proposed solutions.
* Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
* Provide assistance with Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of solutions.
* Develop documentation that supports the assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular solutions.
* Define standard product offerings that meet the needs of the water and wastewater treatment market.
* Ensure the successful delivery of robust technical solutions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of L8 degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
* Managerial experience of process or design teams advantageous.
* Commercial awareness to ensure product proposals are both cost-effective and profitable.
* Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to travel to customer locations.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
