Job Title: Pharmaceutical Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead our projects in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing complex projects from start to finish.
This is a 12-month contracting position, and the ideal candidate will have a primary degree level education in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience. They will also have experience in Construction/Facility systems/Utility systems/Pharmaceutical Processing NPI, commissioning, and project management training.
The role involves working in a safe manner, adhering to Health, Safety & Environment mandatory policies, standards, and procedures. The successful candidate will support and adhere to personnel and manufacturing policies and procedures, and adhere to the Change Control Management System for all changes to the existing process or the implementation of new systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving change by assessing opportunities, presenting proposals, gaining support from key stakeholders, assembling relevant team members, obtaining finance, and managing budgets.
* Writing Design Specifications and completing IQ/OQ/PQ activities as part of project execution.
* Performing risk management, translating the results into action, and executing the implementation plans.
* Planning and prioritizing workload to ensure that agreed deadlines are achieved.
* Occasionally performing other engineering duties to support the operation, as required.
* Taking ownership of projects, participating in audits of regulatory agencies, presenting to visitors as Subject Matter Expert.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and professional, with excellent communication skills, and able to work effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams and third-party service providers.
