Role Overview
Activities Facilitator at Leopardstown Park Hospital, a 120‑bed long‑stay facility in Foxrock, Dublin, Ireland. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Nursing and works closely with the Occupational Therapist Manager and the wider OT team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead activities delivery, ensuring safety and inclusion for all residents.
Plan, prepare and run a person‑centred activity timetable and programme.
Adapt activities in consultation with OT staff to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (ADON, OT Manager, other disciplines) to run smooth events and programmes.
Maintain activity records on E‑ipiCare and other required systems.
Support nursing practice according to hospital guidelines, policies and legislation for older persons services.
Participate in clinical audit, incident reporting, and risk‑management processes.
Contribute to standards, protocols and best‑practice policy implementation.
Engage in continuous education, research, and professional development activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum QQI Level V in the Care of the Older Person.
Evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level.
For non‑new‑entrant applicants: age under 65.
No EU work permit required.
