Job Description: Digital Marketing Executive – Construction Sector
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Digital Marketing Executive to lead our online marketing and brand visibility strategy. You will take full ownership of our digital presence, ensuring our large-scale projects, people, and company milestones are showcased through high-quality professional storytelling.
While we have a strong preference for candidates with experience in Construction, Engineering, or Property, we are open to talented marketers from other fast-paced B2B or professional services backgrounds who have a proven track record of managing a premium corporate brand.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Brand Storytelling: Develop high-quality content for social media, website, and newsletters. You will turn technical project updates and site milestones into engaging, people-focused stories.
Social Media Management: Manage all company channels (LinkedIn is our priority), maintaining a consistent content calendar and growing our professional audience.
Campaign Execution: Deliver digital campaigns for recruitment, project launches, CSR initiatives, and industry awards.
Website & Analytics: Keep our digital assets updated and provide monthly reports on performance, using data to suggest improvements.
Internal Collaboration: Act as a "roving reporter" within the business—working with project teams and senior leadership to gather photos, updates, and site content.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years’ in digital marketing or communications.
Sector Knowledge: Experience in Construction, Engineering, or Property is highly desirable, but we welcome applicants from B2B sectors or Professional Services who understand complex project-based marketing.
Content Skills: Strong copywriting and a good eye for visual content (short-form video, photography, and basic design).
Tech Stack: Proficiency with Canva/Adobe Suite, social scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite/Buffer), and CMS platforms like WordPress.
Measurable Impact: Ability to demonstrate how your marketing efforts have driven engagement or business goals.
Education: A relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media.
To be considered for this role, please include a link to your digital portfolio or attach 3–5 work samples that demonstrate your experience in:
Case Studies: Evidence of turning a complex project or technical service into a clear, engaging story.
Visual Assets: Examples of professional graphics, photography, or short-form video content you have created.
Campaign Results: A brief overview of a social media or digital campaign you managed, highlighting the creative approach and its impact.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Adaptable: Comfortable discussing strategy with senior directors and visiting busy construction sites to capture content.
Independent: A self-starter who can "hunt" for stories and take a project from an initial idea to a finished post.
Detail-Oriented: Takes pride in brand consistency and high-quality output.
Relationship Builder: Able to build rapport quickly with diverse project teams to gather the information needed.
Flexible Hub: Candidates can be based out of our offices in Tullamore, Dublin, Cork, or Limerick.
Hybrid Model: The role incorporates a blend of office-based, construction site and remote work.
