Job Details: Investment Fees and Reconciliations Junior Analyst

This role is within the Investment Control team, responsible for collating and reconciling custodian data feeds, reporting under Solvency II regulations for UPE and Ex UI books to the Central Bank of Ireland, and calculating fees on the UPE book. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to end-to-end processes and best practices.


Key Accountabilities:

* Monthly and quarterly reconciliation of custodian data feeds for Solvency II reporting.
* Analyzing policy tolerance discrepancies and liaising with internal and external parties to justify movements.
* Maintaining internal systems by updating policies, accounts, and the Central Data Repository (CDR).
* Loading policy valuations for Solvency II reporting and fee calculations.
* Generating and issuing fee invoices to custodian banks.
* Processing bank statements to identify received payments.
* Issuing broker commission statements after payments are received.
* Building relationships with custodian banks to ensure timely and accurate data feeds and payments.
* Monitoring these relationships and reporting issues affecting customer satisfaction.
* Supporting collection of IDD and MiFID fees, reconciling values, and assisting with AVS queries.
* Collecting Italian Stamp Duty (ISD) funds.
* Contributing to process and system improvements, emphasizing controls and risk management.
* Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines.
* Proactively troubleshooting issues using own initiative.
* Performing ad-hoc administrative and project duties as needed.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours

* Highly organized with experience working efficiently in a regulated environment.
* Experience dealing with third-party custodians and brokers.
* Experience in diverse, multicultural teams is advantageous.
* Proven track record in financial services operations.
* Ability to recognize the impact of external regulatory, market, and legal changes.
* Effective management and measurement of work to deliver high service levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Fluency in Italian is preferred but not essential.
* Dependable and trustworthy, especially when working remotely.
