We are seeking an accomplished Maintenance Officer to oversee property maintenance activities ensuring high standards of cost, quality, and timeliness. Job Description The role involves conducting inspections before and after maintenance or repairs including damage assessments and tenancy changeovers. The successful candidate will authorise repairs and ensure work meets agreed standards working with contractors engineers and internal teams to coordinate maintenance activity keeping tenants informed of repair progress and expected timeframes supporting delivery of planned maintenance schemes such as kitchens heating bathrooms identifying recovering tenant-attributable repair costs where appropriate providing technical support to housing staff escalating issues when needed maintaining accurate records adhering to performance health safety GDPR requirements.
