Job Description A Production Supervisor is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mayo based pharmaceutical client.
This role leads cross-functional collaboration between production, warehouse, logistics, and quality teams while driving process improvement, digital automation, and performance analytics across the manufacturing environment.
Role of this position Supervise daily production activities to meet output, quality, and safety goals.
Coordinate workflows between Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.
Develop, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production workflows.
Utilize ERP and digital manufacturing systems to track production schedules, inventory levels, and work orders.
Lead automation initiatives to streamline production reporting, material tracking, and performance monitoring.
Ensure accurate data flow between production, warehouse, supply chain, and finance systems.
Partner with Sales and Supply Chain teams to align production output with demand forecasts and product launches.
Support on-time delivery of both B2B and B2C orders through effective production planning and coordination.
Work closely with Customer Service to ensure consistent product availability and delivery accuracy.
Track and analyze key production metrics, including yield, efficiency, downtime, and cost per unit.
Identify trends, root causes, and areas for process optimization using data-driven insights.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly production performance reports to senior management JOB REQUIREMENTS 2 to 4 years' experience in production ideally within health, pharmaceutical, FMCG or e-commerce environments.
Experience supporting both B2B and B2C operations.
Experience supervising or coordinating small teams.
Experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or healthcare.
Understanding of ISO, GMP or similar quality management systems.
Familiarity with one or more ERP systems.
