We are seeking a receptionist to support in all aspects of FOH service delivery at an accomodation centre in Lismore, Waterford.
The role is Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 hours daily.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to meet a variety of people and gain experience in a professional environment, affording them the opportunity to hone and develop their skills in facilities management.
Details: Provide front of house and reception services for the client directly.
Handling the client's reception duties with care, commitment and always in a courteous manner.
Managing and responding to the client's customer's requirements and requests.
Operating a switchboard Telephone enquiries (internal external).
Distributing calls throughout the building, taking messages if necessary and e-mail relevant individuals without delay.
Handle couriers and post deliveries and collections.
Mailroom distribution and duties as per site procedures Sorting of post ensuring a co-ordinated approach to incoming and outgoing post management.
Meeting room booking Keep reception area neat and tidy.
Check e-mails each morning and react accordingly.
Maintaining accurate and efficient management information systems.
Book taxis in line with the client's policy and procedures.
Ensure all activities are carried out are in accordance with H and S policies.
General facilities support i.e. general facilities support, including repairs, planned maintenance coordination, reactive maintenance and coordination with contractors, conduct fire drills, safety checks and reports, provide reports covering facilities and related issues, maintain adequate records of all issues relating to facilities and safety etc.
Note in exceptional circumstances there may be a requirement to assist with other ad hoc duties for the client off reception.
The ideal person: Excellent standard of Irish and English - both written and spoken Previous reception experience Proficient in MS Office Suite Professional oral and written communication skills
