Whites of Wexford are now recruiting for Accommodation Porters to join their team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a confident, organised person who has excellent attention to detail, will be motivated and have good social and communication skills. They will also have a flexible attitude towards shift work as the role will involve working evenings, midweek, and weekends.
The Candidate:
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* Previous experience working as a Housekeeping Porter in a hotel is desirable.
* Flexible to work both mid-week and weekend shifts.
* Honest, reliable, flexible, and hardworking.
Essential Functions:
* Delivering clean linen to all accommodation stores and collecting all dirty linen from the accommodation hallways.
* Assess the quality and accuracy of all linen deliveries and store same.
* Maintains excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the Hotel.
* Assist with striping of beds each day
* Ensures all maintenance requests are communicated clearly to the Maintenance Team.
* Deals with all guest requests in a professional and timely manner.
* Ensure that all checklists are completed.
* Follows hotel procedure for the acceptance, security and return of guest lost property.
* Adhere to hotel policy for key control and security.
