We are currently looking for 2 Ready Mix Concrete Drivers for our Cork Region.
Responsibilities
Act as liaison with the logistics department and the location manager to ensure Kilsaran products are delivered to customers safely and on time.
Complete all collections and deposits as scheduled to provide effective service to all customers and facilities.
Ensure the delivery is safe on arrival and respect the customer's property; when in doubt consult with customer and/or local Manager or Transport Manager.
Check delivery with the customer and obtain a signature.
Maintain a schedule of all deliveries and collections.
Operate trucks safely and effectively to minimise the risk of injury and/or property damage.
Operate all equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with all relevant legislations, policies and procedures.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Drive within the Tachograph Law and Driver Hour Limits.
Clean trucks as scheduled and maintain the cleanliness of the cab.
Report any incidents or accidents promptly in compliance with the company's accident reporting procedure.
Attend essential training required to carry out the driver role.
Provide yard support as required by the Location Manager.
Store trucks and equipment safely and securely.
Lead by example in all aspects of Health & Safety, fully comply with Company H&S policies, report hazards and incidents, and work safely at all times.
Skills Required
Work independently without supervision.
Strong understanding of health & safety practices regarding vehicle movements around a site.
Positive, courteous, respectful interaction with the public and clients.
Ability to work in a high‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
Valid C or CE licence.
