Overview
Permanent Whole Time Post. UCC wishes to appoint an experienced and dynamic individual to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will lead the strategic and operational management of UCC's financial resources, ensuring long-term sustainability and enabling the delivery of its academic mission.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a budget exceeding €500 million, guiding financial strategy, investment, risk, and resource deployment.
* Collaborate closely with the President, Governing Authority, ULT and external stakeholders to communicate financial performance, support infrastructure development and drive commercial growth.
* Lead the Finance function and champion a major business transformation programme, shaping the financial vision of UCC.

Salary and Benefits
* Salary placement on appointment will be made on the Bursar Salary Scale in accordance with public sector pay policy: €197,528 (Scale B) / €187,652 (Scale A).
