Job Purpose
The Fitness Instructor plays a central role in delivering POWER's signature high-energy workouts: POWER Pedal and POWER Climb. This position demands passion, leadership, and a commitment to delivering immersive, performance-driven experiences across both class formats.
Fitness Instructors are responsible for planning and leading classes, coaching all fitness levels, and cultivating a positive, motivating studio culture. As brand ambassadors, they represent POWER's mission of community, performance, and energy-building strong member connections that support retention and results.

* POWER Perform - A data-driven cycling session focused on performance outcomes
* POWER Ride - A rhythm-based ride emphasizing music, movement, and energy
POWER Climb
* A full-body, low-impact, high-intensity workout utilizing the VersaClimber for unmatched cardio and strength endurance
Role Responsibilities
Class Instruction & Member Engagement
* Lead dynamic, results-driven indoor cycling and climbing classes in accordance with POWER programming
* Deliver clear, effective, and inclusive coaching for all fitness levels
* Maintain high energy and create an immersive experience using music, rhythm, and voice
* Offer modifications and progressions to meet individual member needs
* Promote proper technique and form, ensuring safety and efficacy in every class
Customer Experience & Service
* Build strong relationships by learning members' goals and supporting their progress
* Foster a welcoming, community-oriented environment that encourages regular participation
* Maintain seamless class flow and engaging transitions between workout segments
* Be a positive presence in the studio before, during, and after class
Team Collaboration & Communication
* Collaborate with Club Managers, fellow Trainers, and Front-of-House staff to ensure exceptional member experience
* Attend regular team meetings and contribute to feedback on programming, member needs, and studio improvements
* Stay current with continuing education, in-house training, and development opportunities
Operational & Safety Standards
* Ensure all equipment (bikes, VersaClimbers, sound systems, etc.) is functioning and properly maintained
* Assist members with setup, troubleshooting, and proper use of machines
* Enforce all safety protocols and studio policies
* Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the workout area
Preferred Experience & Skills
* Proven experience leading group workouts (cycling, climbing, HIIT, or similar modalities)
* Passion for fitness and wellness, with the ability to inspire and engage a diverse group of members
* Excellent communication skills and an upbeat, engaging personality
* Ability to create a motivating, professional, and supportive training atmosphere
* Desire to continuously learn and improve coaching skills
