MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Implement a marketing and sales strategy for one or more of the organization's more complex, controversial, or strategically significant products/services in order to meet established sales or market share targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct market research, oversee product development and design, set prices, launch new products, oversee advertising campaigns, and monitor sales performance to effectively market assigned products/services.
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate domestic and international market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the product/service.
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas.
Identify product/service changes to meet customer needs.
Liaise with other areas of the organization (e.g., production, R&D) to implement these changes.
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
Monitor sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts.
Adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the product/service.
Liaise with advertising and promotions specialists to design sales campaigns and sales collateral for the product/service that are effective and appropriate for the target audience.
Train the sales force on value proposition, commercial account strategy and product value drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates Degree (± 13 years)
Masters Degree (± 18 years)
Major/Field of Study: Engineering
Experience/Background
Minimum 8 years
Experience in Diagnostics, previous experience working in a Lab is preferred
Technical and scientific knowledge in Molecular Diagnostics and Blood Screening
Sales experience; EMEA areas sales experience is desirable
Experience with PR strategies and Digital Health
Ability to articulate actionable marketing strategies and execution plans in a manner that resonates with a regional sales team.
Familiarity with tools for consumer insights, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting
Experience analyzing domestic and international market dynamics
Experience using customer feedback and performance data to iterate on products
Understanding of cost structures, margins, and profitability
Ability to prepare and manage sales forecasts and marketing budgets
Familiarity with the development and execution of go-to-market plans
Familiarity with sales enablement and training programs
Can demonstrate the ability to work with advertising and creative teams to develop campaigns
Knowledge of designing sales collateral and promotional materials tailored to target audiences
Experience monitoring sales metrics and KPIs
Ability to adapt marketing and sales strategies based on performance data
Familiarity with CRM and analytics platforms
Experience liaising with internal departments to align product strategy and execution
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate technical product features into customer-centric messaging
