Job Role
The Radiology Assistant will be part of a multidisciplinary team in the Radiology Department.
* Welcome patients and their guardians to the imaging service in a professional manner.
* Accompany patients and relevant paperwork to the MRI Suite.
* Verify labels have been printed for iv gad & Buscopan patients.
* Demonstrate respect for patients at all times, acknowledging that any information discussed with them during the examination is private and confidential.
* Support Radiographers during Diagnostic Imaging examinations, including patient movement and equipment handling.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work within the Radiology department and assist Radiographers and Radiologists in areas including MRI, Ultrasound, CT, image management, and General Radiography.
* General and MRI duties: Welcome patients and their guardians to the imaging service professionally.
* Accompany patients and relevant documentation to the MRI Suite.
* Verify labels for iv gad & Buscopan patients.
* Ensure respect for patients at all times, maintaining confidentiality throughout the examination process.
* Assist Radiographers during all Diagnostic Imaging procedures, involving patient care and equipment management.
