Role: Branch Development Manager - €60,000 per annum + Benefits

Branch Location: Dublin

Working Week: Monday - Friday

Role Type: Permanent / Full Time - In Person

The new Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying further growth opportunities, cultivating key client relationships, and driving Synergy’s commercial strategy across diverse industry sectors. This appointment reflects our ambition to remain at the forefront of the security industry, by combining deep sector expertise with a forward-thinking approach to client safety and asset protection.


Scope Of The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our continued growth and enhance our market presence. You will be responsible for discovering new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships. The Business Development Manager will effectively drive the company's growth and maintain a competitive edge in the market.


Responsibilities

* Identifying New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services and products.
* Analyse the competitive landscape and market trends to forecast business goals.
* Leverage Data Analytics: Utilise data analytics tools to gain deeper insights into market trends and customer behaviour.
* Innovation: Encourage innovation by identifying and exploring new product ideas and business models.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic business development plans.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to the senior management team.
* Risk Management: Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential business risks.
* Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs to measure the success of business development initiatives.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.
* Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs.
* Customer Feedback: Implement systems to gather and act on customer feedback, to improve services.
* Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams, to align company goals and strategies.
* Work with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies.
* Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
* Thought Leadership: Position the company as a thought leader by contributing to industry publications and speaking at conferences.
* Brand Awareness: Work on increasing brand awareness through strategic partnerships and sponsorships.


Requirements

* Proven experience at Business Development Manager level in the Security/FM sector, working direct/indirect, with multiple client leads
* Extensive experience in a sales environment with a strong background in the security and/or facilities sector
* Travel required within Europe or as needed, developing a wide network of contacts, ensuring the company is invited to bid for as many tenders as possible
* Ability to analyse market data and trends to make informed business decisions
* Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement effective business development strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
* Proven leadership abilities to inspire and guide the business development team
* Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs
