Job DescriptionHanley Calibration are currently recruiting an Instrumentation Apprentice for the Cork & Munster region. The role is primarily field‑based, involving visits to multiple blue‑chip sites in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.Job Role & ResponsibilitiesComplete all training, both on and off‑site phases as per the Solas Instrumentation Apprenticeship training program curriculum.Day‑to‑day liaison with the Hanley Calibration Service Manager.Comply with company calibration procedures and site safety policies and strive to maintain an accident‑free environment.Provide instrumentation/calibration support for process, utilities and laboratory instruments, including temperature, pressure, flow, analytical and mass instruments.Document activities to GMP standards in both paper‑based records and the calibration computer system software packages.Support continuous improvement and promote quality and customer service.Education/Experience RequirementsLeaving Certificate with mathematics and a science or engineering subject.Familiarity with working in a GMP environment is an advantage.Strong technical aptitude and a drive for further education and training.Computer literate.Good communication skills and customer relations.Full Clean Driving Licence is essential.Key BehaviorsTakes pride in the delivery of a quality service.Takes personal accountability, ownership and action to do the right thing.BenefitsVHI AllowanceAnnual Performance BonusOpportunities for career progressionPension schemeIncreasing annual leave with serviceEducation & study supportDeath in service insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramAccess to Green Grant Initiative
