HID Global, EMEA Fulfilment is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to work amongst our Production Team. The Technician will work in HID’s Production facility and is responsible for providing a world‑class level of service to the Fulfillment Operations while ensuring the Company’s standards around Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost are upheld.
The qualified candidate has an excellent knowledge base of lean manufacturing principles, prior continuous improvement experience, and a ‘can‑do’ attitude to engage the team and implement strategic changes.

Responsibilities
Responsible for all production equipment on site, ensuring built‑in quality, maximizing machine uptime, and championing preventative maintenance.
Lead machine repairs, diagnose root causes, and implement containment and corrective actions.
Investigate and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain process controls and document changes, training the team.
Identify areas for improvement in departmental processes.
Engage a team, manage projects to satisfactory conclusion and present quantifiable improvements.
Able to raise MCO/ECO/PIM using Agile change‑management system.
Proactively elevate potential safety, quality, delivery issues and operational inefficiencies.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the global manufacturing team.
Lead engagement and integration of new product introduction (NPI) into the fulfillment center.
Play a prominent role in new capital equipment acceptance to support capacity improvements or new product launches.
Look at the department strategically and work toward long‑term departmental goals on top of daily operations.
Be an ambassador for lean manufacturing principles and develop a culture of standard work.
Maintain compliance with all site policies and procedures (Health & Safety and Quality).
Qualifications
Preferred BSc in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a production environment.
Background in electrical, electronic, or mechanical production machinery.
Experience in lean methodology (process mapping, 5S, etc.).
Familiarity with Oracle R12 ERP or similar ERP systems.
Familiarity with Agile PLM or similar PLM systems.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Candidate may be subject to background checks and training consistent with HID’s partner employment policies.
