Purpose of Role
The Environmental Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for
establishing, developing, and implementing the HS&E strategy on projects
, ensuring a
positive safety culture
is maintained and that our client is recognized as an industry leader in
Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
.
Role Responsibilities
* Health & Safety Guidance:
Implement our client's EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters.
* Policies, Procedures & Documentation:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation.
* Inspections, Audits & Reporting:
Conduct site inspections and audits, preparing detailed reports.
* Risk Management & Incident Reporting:
Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated thoroughly.
* Training & Communication:
Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions.
* Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management:
Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards.
The Candidate
* Third-level qualification in
EHS
or a related discipline.
* Minimum of
3 years' experience
on large-scale commercial or construction projects.
* Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Conscientious, detail-oriented, and focused.
* Self-starter with excellent relationship-building skills.
* Full clean driver's license preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
