On behalf of the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB), Lex Consultancy is inviting applications for a permanent position for the position of Media and Campaigns Manager.
SALARY: Atthe first point of the HEO scale - €58,847*
LOCATION: O'Connell House, D'Olier Street, Dublin 2 (Hybrid arrangement; 2-3 days on-site)
ANNUAL LEAVE: 29 days per annum
INTERVIEW: On-site, in-person at O'Connell House, the first week in February, 2026

The Media and Campaigns Manager will be a key member of the RTB Communications and Engagement Team. The successful candidate will lead media relations, digital campaigns and other public engagement activities that:
* Highlight the RTB's important role and impact in regulating Ireland's rental sector
* Provide accessible information on rental law for tenants, landlords and the general public
* Promote RTB services
* Explain and share RTB research and data with the media, key stakeholders and policy makers
Applicants should be experienced communications professionals with broad experience across media relations, digital communications, content creation and campaign management. The successful candidate will have a proven ability in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Some weekend and out of hours work may be required in this role.
The Media and Campaigns Manager will report to the Head of Communications and Engagement. The successful applicant will also advise and interact with the Executive Leadership Team and staff at all levels in respect of matters related to their areas of responsibility.

* At least 5 years' experience working in media relations, public relations, communications, marketing or journalism.
* A relevant third level qualification in communications, public relations, journalism or similar field.
* Demonstrate possession of the essential skills/competencies identified as being essential for the role (see below).
* Be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

* Proven experience in press/media relations and campaign management.
* Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong understanding of Ireland's media landscape and public sector communications.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience using digital platforms and analytics tools to support campaign delivery.
* Knowledge of digital marketing strategy and best practice.
* Experience creating content for web and social media.Excellent IT skills.
* Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines, work independently, manage competing priorities, thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Budget management.
