About the Role
A Project Engineer is required to support Senior Project Managers in executing large value projects or managing multiple small individual projects. Key responsibilities include ensuring projects adhere to good engineering practices, collaborating with global teams, and developing project scope, cost, and budget estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure projects are compliant with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes.
* Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment and support project deliverables.
* Develop project scope, cost, and budget estimates, and present to governance for approval.
* Lead and support project teams through projects.
* Design solutions in compliance with local/corporate safety standards and legislation.
* Plan and schedule complex projects, coordinate parallel activities, and manage external factors.
* Coordinate with facilities, EHS, QA, and manage external factors such as planning and inspections.
* Assure that value engineering, constructability reviews, and similar processes are effectively utilized to minimize capital expenditures and maximize functional value.
Requirements:
* Degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years project engineer/manager experience across the project life cycle within a pharmaceutical environment.
* Demonstrable skills to manage and execute projects from initiation to completion.
* Demonstrable skills and competencies to manage a diverse team of engineering professionals/contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
* Familiar with project life-cycle stage-gate process.
* Demonstrated understanding of the project management process, programming, scope development, design development, implementation, and project closeout.
