With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world's most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.The RoleReporting to a Team Leader within the Private Equity Department, the successful candidate will play a key role in the end-to-end administration of Private Equity funds, gaining broad exposure across fund accounting, transfer agency and financial reporting.This is a role for someone who enjoys ownership, client interaction and working in a high-performing environment, where standards are high but support and development are just as strong.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a consistently high-quality service to a portfolio of assigned Private Equity clientsPrepare interim and annual financial statements, including consolidated financial statements for complex fund structures and listed entitiesAct as a key point of contact for clients and external auditors, confidently managing audit queries and requestsEnsure agreed client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines are metOversee the preparation of regulatory and statutory returns, including Central Bank, CSO and compliance reportingEnsure Net Asset Values (NAVs) are calculated accurately and delivered within defined timelinesControl the accurate and timely payment of operating expensesSupport the establishment of operating models and documentation at fund inceptionEnsure all legal, documentation and compliance requirements are properly completedPrepare, review and collate reporting for board and investor packsProvide hands-on support across BAU activity where required, contributing to the wider success of the teamSkills & ExperienceWe are open to candidates with a range of accountancy backgrounds, including practice, audit and industry, particularly those who have worked in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and have a solid understanding of debits and credits. While prior Private Equity experience is beneficial, it is not essential, as the team provides excellent on-site training and support to help new joiners build specialist knowledge in this area.That said, the ideal candidate will bring the following experience and attributes:A recognised professional accounting qualification (preferred), with relevant post-qualification experienceStrong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRSWorking knowledge of the Irish regulatory and tax framework as it relates to fund accounting and financial reportingPrevious experience in Private Equity fund administration, or a strong willingness and ability to develop this expertise quicklyA collaborative, team-focused approach with a clear commitment to shared successHigh standards of accuracy, ownership and attention to detailThe ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality and client focusWhy This TeamExposure to top-tier global Private Equity clientsA genuinely collaborative, experienced and supportive team cultureStrong investment in systems, technology and process improvementClear opportunities to deepen technical expertise and progress within a growing departmentThe chance to be part of an award-winning Private Equity platform with real momentumWorking with UsAs a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
