Offering a range of over 8,000 industrial products directly from our logistics centre in Limerick and a further 120,000 articles shipped directly from Germany, we are prepared to supply and service our customers today and in the future. Our expansion includes opening 22 Trade Outlets throughout Ireland and expanding our online presence with vending technology, scanners, online sales, and social and video marketing.
Our strength lies in our Direct Sales Force, which is the largest in Ireland, actively selling, servicing, and supporting our growing customer base across sectors such as Automotive Aftermarket, Engineering & MRO, Construction, Renewables, and Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms. At our headquarters in Limerick, over 70 support staff work across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Logistics. We are now hiring a Sales Representative for our Metal Division in Carlow and Kilkenny City.
Your Mission
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our Metal Division. You will be responsible for selling our products and services to clients in the industry, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets to contribute to our company's growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Achieve Sales Targets: Strive to meet and exceed your sales goals within your assigned territory.
2. Promote Multi-Channel Offering: Promote our services across all contact points including Shops, Online, Telesales, and Systems.
3. Identify and Pursue Sales Opportunities: Target new potential customers to drive growth.
4. Develop Customer Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers of all sizes to ensure ongoing business and growth.
5. Product Knowledge: Develop and demonstrate knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate advice and tailored recommendations.
6. Sales Demonstrations: Showcase products and services, provide quotations, and highlight benefits to secure sales.
7. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, going above and beyond customer expectations.
8. Territory Planning: Manage your territory effectively in consultation with your Area Sales Manager.
9. Order & Information Management: Maintain customer and order data using the in-house iPad "Speedy" system.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Experience: Sales experience is desirable but not essential; eagerness to learn and work is key.
2. Passion for Selling: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service.
3. IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn in-house systems quickly.
4. Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time well, and proactively solve problems.
5. Driving Licence: Full clean driving licence required.
