Role OverviewYou will work alongside our animation and technical art team to clean up, enhance, and finalize sequences inside Unreal Engine 5 and Maya. The role requires technical precision, an eye for cinematic composition, and a strong grasp of animation fundamentals.ResponsibilitiesImport, organize, and clean up animation scenes in Unreal Engine 5 and Autodesk Maya.Adjust character rigs, movement timing, and animation curves to achieve smooth, believable motion.Refine lighting setups to match cinematic direction and improve mood/atmosphere.Optimize render settings, manage LODs, and prepare scenes for final output.Troubleshoot shading, texture, and mesh issues.Integrate camera sequences and adjust framing for visual continuity.Collaborate with directors and animators to ensure visual consistency across scenes.Maintain project organization and version control for efficient pipeline flow.Required SkillsStrong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 (Sequencer, Lighting, Rendering, Blueprints).Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Maya (Animation and Scene Cleanup).Experience in lighting, rendering, and material setup.Familiarity with Niagara particles, cinematic cameras, and post-process effects a plus.Basic understanding of rigging and character skin weights.Ability to troubleshoot performance issues in complex scenes.Strong communication and ability to take direction from creative leads.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, or Metahuman.Background in film, cinematics, or cutscene production.Knowledge of animation pipelines and render optimization for real-time output.What We OfferCreative collaboration with a passionate, international team.Flexible remote schedule.Opportunity to contribute to a feature-length animated film in active production.Credit on final film release and portfolio inclusion.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: €20,555.81-€48,373.59 per yearExpected hours: 4 – 8 per weekBenefits:FlexitimeWork Location: Remote
