About The Job
The role of Appliance Installation Assistant involves assisting our drivers with deliveries and appliance installations of goods in customers' homes, interacting with customers, and providing amazing customer service experiences that help make Harvey Norman a great place to shop. This is a white‑glove in‑home delivery/installation operation.
YOUR JOB: Tasks Will Include
* Assist with loading and unloading delivery vans, safely.
* Assist with delivery of appliances from the warehouse or store to customers' homes.
* Call customers in advance of delivery to confirm estimated time of arrival.
* Assist with installation of appliances and/or furniture assemblies.
* Remove old products and packaging.
* Answer all phone calls/queries regarding deliveries from the Customer Delivery Office.
* Care of Proof of Delivery paperwork.
* Keep the delivery van clean and tidy at all times.
* Act as an ambassador for the Harvey Norman brand and deliver the install & assembly service.
* Adhere to the company's policies and procedures at all times.
* Perform other related duties as required.

Additional Information
* This is a full‑time – 11‑month fixed term contract with a 6‑month probationary period and potential for permanency.
* Employees must be flexible about working hours to cover store opening hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
