Job Description The HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing HR operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR services to the organisation. This role involves leading the HR Ops team, managing HR processes and policies to ensure compliance and improving our overall employee experience. The HR Operations Manager will work closely with senior management and other department heads to support HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This individual will act as a bridge between HR and the broader organization, ensuring that operational processes support both compliance and the evolving needs of employees. Responsibilities The principal responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following: Lead and develop the HR Operations team, providing mentorship, guidance and performance feedback. Drive consistent and accurate administrative and transactional processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and deliver seamless HR services across the organisation. Monitor and evaluate HR operations to identify trends, address challenges proactively, and ensure the consistent execution of HR initiatives. Support the implementation and roll-out of new HR functionality and champion change within the team. Ensure that the team consistently meet all SLAs with regard to the HR Helpdesk - HR Ops are the first point of contact of all staff, providing information and guidance on HR queries and policies. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, and effectively communicated to employees. Develop and maintain high quality HR data, metrics & reporting to provide insights on HR performance and inform decision-making. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance HR operations and employee satisfaction. Work closely with other departments and senior management to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with overall business goals. Demonstrating and championing An Posts values and behaviours. Qualifications You will have at least 5+ years of experience in HR operations or a related role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position along with a relevant degree level HR qualification or equivalent discipline. You have strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and policies. You have ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs. Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Oracle HCM is an advantage.
