Job descriptionJob Opportunity: Retail ManagerLocation: Rathdrum/WicklowPosition: Seasonal Retail Manager / Weekend Retail ManagerWe're seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team. If you're a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage uncertainty and self starting, this is the role for youKEY ACTIVITIES:· Ownership and leadership of the Smurf Village retail experience at Avondale, ensuring the highest standards of customer engagement, sales performance, and operational delivery.· Lead and manage the day-to-day retail operations, including merchandising, stock control, and cash management, with reporting.· Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring all visitors receive a warm welcome and a consistent "WOW" service.· Recruit, train, and supervise part-time and seasonal staff, fostering a positive team culture.· Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for management, a Medium Skill level in Microsoft Excel is needed.· Ensure compliance with health & safety, cash handling, and operational policies at all times.· Collaborate with TBG management on marketing initiatives, seasonal events, and promotional campaigns, with responsibility for Digital marketing and booking site elements.· Maintain the highest standards of presentation across all retail and customer-facing areas.· Support other TBG projects and events as required, particularly during seasonal peaks.Working Pattern & FlexibilityThe standard working week will include weekends during seasonal events, in line with business requirements.
