Limerick Company: OConnor Tractors Sales OConnor Tractors Sales are currently seeking a Qualified Agricultural Mechanic to join our busy and growing team. This is a full-time position based in the Knocknagoshel / Abbeyfeale area. Working Hours: 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual who can work on their own initiative while also contributing effectively within a team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment Complete all relevant job reports and administrative documentation Carry out field-based diagnostics and repairs as required Perform pre-delivery inspections and setup of new and used equipment Participate in ongoing Service Training Certification programs Support and mentor apprentices within the workshop Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 1+ year experience in service repairs (agricultural machinery experience preferred) Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using specialised tools and approved technical procedures Competent in standard computer applications and internet use Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Full, clean driving licence required If you are a skilled mechanic looking to develop your career within a well-established agricultural business, we would love to hear from you.
