Occupational Therapist Role

Key responsibilities will include working with adults in a well-established Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit based in North Cork, managing a caseload and providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention. You will also engage in interdisciplinary working with the clinical team to meet individualised needs. Additionally, you will develop and facilitate individual and group therapy programmes and promote recovery-oriented occupational therapy practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree or masters in Occupational Therapy from a third-level institution offering a programme of study accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
* Registration with CORU or proof of pending registration at application stage.
* At least three years' relevant post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist working in a mental health setting alongside a multidisciplinary team.
